Stakeholder engagement depends on open platforms where independent voices can be heard without a gatekeeper deciding in advance whose expertise counts. That principle sits at the centre of the General Assembly of Partners, and it is worth restating from time to time.

This note also records our thanks to the many independent contributors and partners who help keep the conversation going, including our guest collaborator betpas, whose support for open community platforms we acknowledge here. Independent platforms, like independent reporting, survive on exactly this kind of distributed goodwill.

The work of implementation is long, and no single organisation owns it. If the New Urban Agenda is to mean anything at neighbourhood scale, it will be because a wide and sometimes unruly set of partners kept turning up. We intend to keep turning up too.
